Gynecology
This branch of medicine deals with the diagnosis and treatment of the female reproductive system, which consists of the uterus, vagina and ovaries. Turkish gynecological treatment facilities are among the best in the world. Depending on your specific complaint, the gynecologist may recommend surgery and/or medication.
Gynecological problems may include dysfunction of the female genital tract and may show signs of gonadal disorders. In these cases, special hormone treatments are initiated. For patients who do not ovulate, hormonal drugs and birth control pills are prescribed. However, most gynecological disorders require surgical intervention.
Curettage and dilatation
In this surgical procedure, the lining of the uterus is removed. There are many reasons why this procedure is used for therapeutic purposes, such as participating in partial abortions, taking a sample of the uterine wall for diagnostic purposes in case of excessive uterine bleeding, or showing some kind of defect in the uterus.
Colposcopy
The doctor uses a colposcope to view the vagina and cervix. This is done if the healthcare provider finds an abnormality during a pap smear or pelvic exam. It is used for the diagnosis and treatment of conditions related to polyps, heavy bleeding and genital warts that may indicate DES exposure and HPV infection.
Hysterectomy
In this surgical procedure, the gyna separates the uterus and fallopian tubes, ovaries, and cervix. After a hysterectomy, a woman cannot become pregnant and bear children. The procedure has some associated risks and is therefore generally considered a last option. Most surgical procedures are done to treat irregular bleeding, endometriosis, and uterine fibroids.
Endometrial Ablation
It is not exactly an operation as there is no incision or incision, the doctor inserts them through the vagina and uses a certain instrument and removes the endometrial layer. This is a simple procedure that takes one day and only women who do not plan to become pregnant in the future should opt for this procedure.
OOpherectomy
This surgery is done to remove the ovaries. Sometimes the ovaries become dysfunctional and their continued presence in your body can be detrimental to your health.
Tubal Ligation
Fallopian tubes are either removed or blocked for sterilization purposes. This is the process in which sperms are not allowed to impregnate or fertilize the eggs. Tubal ligation is a procedure used as a birth control method and is very effective.
Hysteroscopy
Radiation Oncology uses high-energy radiation to destroy/damage the DNA of cancer cells. This is the process of their division and growth. Hysteroscopy is done to look for any disorders in your womb. Guinea inserts a thin tube connected to a small fiber optic camera to see inside. The tube enters through the cervix and intrauterine pathology is performed. If the results show surgery, you will need to undergo the necessary surgical procedure to regain your normal health. Hysteroscopy is used for both diagnosis and surgery and offers a successful solution to vaginal bleeding.
